After doing a ton of research on the best stand-up arcade businesses, I reached out to Retro Arcade. They not only offer the finest machines, but their customer service is top-notch too. I had a bunch of questions and even swung by the store before making my purchase. Every question I had was answered promptly and with plenty of detail. My machine was tailored to my specifications, and when it showed up, it was packed just right. I've told everyone I know who's even slightly considering getting their own arcade to check them out. I've always dreamed of having my own machine, and now that I do... I might just become a homebody for good!

We reached out to this business while at our vacation spot, then made our way to Edmonton to see their offerings in person. We were really impressed that they manufacture all their own machines and are a family-run operation using mostly Canadian parts. We grabbed a 2-player machine with 5000 games!!, and we’re planning to head back next week to snag a Daytona driving game. These folks are just our type. Super down to earth. You won’t regret it.

I’m super happy I discovered Retroactive Arcade. They’re based in Canada, which is a plus, and their ordering system is really smooth: quick delivery and solid communication. Plus, their site looks great, and they’ve got a ton of stuff at reasonable prices. This is definitely my go-to for all things arcade from now on. I can’t recommend them enough!

After months of digging around, I decided to grab a 4-player cabinet from this place. The whole process was handled online and we chatted over the phone to go through the options. They were super helpful and patient, really showing they cared about my experience and the products they offer.

The ordering experience was smooth, and the shipping went well. The item, while visually appealing and packed with entertaining games, didn’t hold up to regular play. Screws came loose from the particle board cabinet, leading to the volume controller and one joystick dropping inside. Sadly, there’s no option for repair or return, so I’m left to figure out how to fix the joystick and volume controller on my own. Living in a small town without access to electronics support has made it tough to deal with a malfunctioning machine. Retroactive Arcade appears to be run by friendly folks, but they lack the resources to effectively handle service requests beyond their local area.

I had the chance to meet Casey and Rob face-to-face at their booth during Yegpin. I was really impressed by the quality of the games made by Retroactive Arcade. The parts I bought were sent out quickly and were packed nicely. It's fantastic to have a local supplier of this quality to work with.

I had both of my bar tops created at this place (the first one was a prototype). I also source all my components from Casey. He's a fantastic person to collaborate with and goes above and beyond to ensure you get exactly what you need.

The customer support, range of products, and instructions on how to use them are all super easy to find. I don’t waste my time looking anywhere else. This place is the ultimate arcade shop. I strongly suggest checking out this amazing business.

Service was top-notch. My upright arcade unit looks amazing, is of superb quality, and comes loaded with all my favorite classic games. I put in a fair bit of research before buying and would surely suggest Retro Active arcade to others.

I was really happy with everything I got, but I ended up misplacing one of those tiny metal pieces that keep the joysticks in place. It'd be awesome if you could throw in an extra one or two; I reckon that would be super helpful for folks! :D

I was really pleased with the arcade, but the way I was treated when I sought help for the setup was honestly the worst customer service I've ever encountered. That’s why I had to drop my rating to 2 stars instead of 4 or 5. After shelling out more than $3000.00 and getting such poor treatment from the owner, it was just unacceptable. I won’t be doing business with them again.

I had a fantastic time dealing with RetroActive Arcade Ltd. Everything turned out just as I expected. I shot them some questions via email, and they got back to me super fast. The item was available just like they promised, and it showed up right on time. I'm really pleased with the quality of the 60-in-one multicard I got - all the games run smoothly and look amazing. Plus, I'm really excited that there's a Canadian company out there that not only provides arcade parts and gear but also offers solid customer support and helpful online resources. When I need more supplies, they’ll be my go-to.
